iPhone X is the best selling phone of Quarter 1, 2018
With the launch of iPhone X, it captures the 4.6 percent share of all models shipped in the first quarter. iPhone 7 shipped about 5.6 million units and iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus shipped 12.5 million and 8.3 million units respectively. According to this data so far the best selling iPhone is iPhone X with the highest shipping rate of 16 million units. With this result iPhone X secure its rank as the world’s best-selling smartphone in the last quarter.
If we compare the sales of iPhone X with the other popular smartphones in the market like Xiaomi and Samsung Galaxy S9 plus then the shipping is 5.4 million units and 5.3 million units in the first quarter. But the important factor is this comparison is based on the shipping in the first quarter only. This time period made iPhone X the best competitive rival in the market.
In the first quarter iPhone X rules the market because of its amazing apps, good camera, beautiful design and extensive retail presence for the device. But the point to be noticed is, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus launched in February and go on sale until mid-March. This Smartphone launched by the Samsung company is on a good start. And expected to be the best-selling android smartphone globally in the next quarter of the year 2018.
